POSITION SUMMARY Implements treatment plans developed and supervised by a Licensed Physical Therapist in an attempt to prevent disability following disease/injury, while helping the patient reach his/her maximum performance. Provides input regarding patient#s response to treatment and progress. Performs in accordance with standards of Physical Therapy practice that are ethical and legal in North Carolina. EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE: Minimum Required: Associate Degree from an American Physical Therapy Association accredited program for Physical Therapy Assistants. Current North Carolina license or license eligible. BCLS Certification; recertification required annually. May require valid NC Driver#s license and access to use of an automobile. Preferred: Same#
