Gym membership reimbursement and partner discounts. What does a day in the life look like? Completes patient treatments in accordance with established plan of care using evidence based guidelines. Completes accurate charging of services and provides documentation to support the charges and provision of the therapy services within facility guidelines. Manages each patient's plan of care effectively by timely interdisciplinary collaboration and communication with physician involvement as needed. Initiates regular communication back to the supervising physical therapist about patient care issues, departmental concerns, and specific ideas affecting goals and treatment plan development. What should I have to be considered? Graduate from an accredited physical therapist assistant program required. At least two years of experience performing as a PTA in a long term care, post-acute, hospital, home care or similar setting preferred. Must be licensed in the state of Nebraska or compact state as a PTA. Must have BLS CPR certification or be willing to obtain within 45 days of hire.
