Respiratory Therapist

Acute Respiratory Therapist MLR Healthcare (Recruiting) is seeking a full-time, permanent, direct-hire Respiratory Therapist to join a dynamic team at an established acute-care hospital in Texas. In this role, you will perform professional respiratory therapy work following established procedures, providing therapeutic interventions and support to patients to aid in their respiratory recovery and overall well-being. Pay: $55,000 per year $94,500 per year Respiratory Therapist Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with physicians on patients' conditions and create individualized treatment plans. Conduct diagnostic assessments. Schedule: Night shifts/ Rotating every other weekends / 3x12s Evaluating a patient's home or work environment and suggesting modifications to enhance their independence and fit their needs. Input data into computer programs. Maintain work area according to OSHA and NIOSH standards. Respiratory Therapist Requirements: State of Texas licensure in Respiratory Care Annual renewal of National Board for Respiratory Care active status for therapists subject to the Continuing Competency Program (CCP) Graduate Therapists must obtain CRT credentials and then test for RRT credential and NBRC Credential active status within 1 year of graduation. If RRT Credential is not obtained, will be placed into Respiratory Care Practitioner job position until RRT credential is obtained.
