Pottstown, Pennsylvania Responsibilities: Evaluation & Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech and language needs. Identify and diagnose various speech-language disorders. Develop and deliver written evaluation reports with tailored recommendations. Treatment Planning & Therapy: Create and implement individualized treatment plans, especially IEPs in school settings. Provide direct therapy for articulation, language delays, fluency, and other disorders. Monitor and document progress to ensure effective treatment outcomes. Collaboration: Engage with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance student support. Actively participate in IEP meetings and collaborative planning sessions. Offer consultation and training for staff and caregivers on speech and language development. Supervision: Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants and related personnel as required. Provide guidance to graduate students and Clinical Fellows in their professional development. Compliance: Maintain accurate documentation that meets state and facility standards. Uphold ethical practices as outlined by ASHA and state regulations. Stay informed on professional development and continuing education requirements. Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Current Pennsylvania state license in Speech-Language Pathology. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is strongly preferred. PDE certification necessary for public school positions. Demonstrated clinical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
