Starting Salary Range: full-time - $70,000 - $75,000 salary + Office Benefit Package (On-call expenses): $130/Month subject to change
The Mental Health Therapist will provide professional, quality program services to the clients served by the Outpatient Clinic (OPC). Demonstrate clinical competence to treat adolescents, families and adults using evidence-based practices in compliance with federal, state and professional codes. Work is performed with latitude for independent judgment.
Jobs and Responsibilities:
Provide individual, group and family therapy.
Perform Diagnostic Assessments according to state and federal criteria.
Treat individuals diagnosed with dual disorders of mental illness and substance abuse.
Perform appropriate functional assessments.
Perform appropriate risk assessments for suicide, sexual assault and violence.
Develop appropriate treatment plans.
Develop appropriate therapeutic relationship with clients.
Demonstrate competency with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques.
Demonstrate competency with Motivational Therapy techniques.
Charts appropriately and timely in the agency's electronic health record.
Achieve positive results in client satisfaction surveys
Participate in peer review consultations
Ensure appropriate reports are filed to Vulnerable Adult, Child Protection, the Ombudsman's Office and other agencies/entities as needed
Attend relevant meetings, conferences and training sessions outside of the agency
Attend and participate in all scheduled team meetings.
Complete all paperwork, reports, and charting contemporaneously and in an organized manner.
Participate actively in on-going professional growth and development, maintain appropriate professional behavior, and participate in appropriate supervision.
Maintain a pattern of regular work hours to meet program needs as determined by the Program Director.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Required:
Master's Degree of Ph.D in Behavioral Sciences or related field.
Qualified as a Mental Health Professional, maintaining an LICSW, LP, LPCC, or LMFT license.
Minimum of 4,000 hours of clinical expereince.
Competent in administering Diagnostic Assessments
Competent to treat clients with dual disorders of mental illness and substance abuse
