Description

The Chevy Chase Club, a private country club in Chevy Chase, Maryland, is seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist to work part-time in our serene and spa-like massage facilities, located within the Club's Fitness Center.

We are looking for a friendly, professional, and highly skilled therapist who brings a warm bedside manner, strong communication, and a commitment to excellence in service. This is an outstanding opportunity to work independently within a supportive and professional team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Swedish and Deep Tissue massages, with optional specialties including prenatal, sports massage, and hot stone therapy
• Deliver consistent, professional treatments in accordance with Club standards and certification guidelines
• Consult with clients on their goals, health history, and preferences to create a customized experience
• Maintain clean, sanitized, and fully stocked treatment rooms
• Arrive at least 30 minutes prior to appointments
• Complete SOAP notes for each session
• Adhere to the Club's dress code (black pants, Club-provided shirt)

Qualifications:

• Valid Maryland state massage therapy license
• Proof of current liability insurance
• Current CPR certification
• Minimum 3 years paid experience
• Strong work ethic and self-motivation
• Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism
• Must pass a background check
• Interest in continuing education

Compensation:

• Independent Contractor role
• Commission-based: 60% of service revenue
• Flexible schedule available-massage services offered 7 days a week
