Speech Pathologist

Duties

Centralia City Schools No. 135 is seeking individuals for the position(s) of District Speech Pathologist. Candidates will be required to screen students for possible speech/language impairments upon initial entry to the school, evaluate & assess student needs, complete case studies to determine eligibility, confer with multidisciplinary participants to determine eligibility, provide speech therapy, write annual IEP's & goals and objectives, and be able to plan curriculum & prepare lessons.

Qualifications

All candidates must possess an Illinois license in Speech Pathology. Preference will be given to those who possess a license that allows for classroom instruction.

Salary/Benefits

Salary Schedule, additional $7000 speech stipend, additional $3000 special education stipend, paid employee insurance and retirement, generous professional development reimbursement program

Additional Notes

Position serves primarily early childhood through first grade, but may serve additional grade levels as needed if caseload permits.
