Night Shift: Scheduled for the night shift to accommodate your lifestyle. Qualifications: Education: Associate's Degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (CoARC or CAAHEP). Certifications: Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Workers: Current certification in accordance with the American Heart Association or equivalent. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS): Current certification. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP): Current certification. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS): Current certification. Highly Desirable: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC with a current, full, active, and unrestricted license. Experience: Minimum of one year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist after graduation. At least 12 months of experience as a Certified Respiratory Therapist within the last 36 months. Knowledge & Skills: Proficient in general anatomy and physiology, cardiopulmonary system structures and functions. Solid understanding of basic pharmacology, patient care theory, procedures, and techniques. Familiar with medical terminology, aseptic techniques, medical ethics, and resuscitation techniques. Experience in maintaining and operating cardiopulmonary laboratory diagnostic and therapeutic equipment. Competent in the use of medications and medical computer systems. Responsibilities: Provide respiratory care to patients, including assessments, treatments, and interventions. Operate and maintain respiratory care equipment. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans. Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and treatments. Document patient care activities and progress.
