Services may include but are not limited to purposeful activities or interventions to maximize the independence and the maintenance of health of any individual who is limited by a physical injury or illness, a cognitive impairment, a psychosocial dysfunction, a mental illness, a developmental or learning disability, or an adverse environmental condition. Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant ( COTA ) Major Duties and Critical Tasks: * Assisting the occupational therapist when performing tests, evaluation and complex treatment procedures * Observing, recording and reporting to the therapist the condition, reactions and responses related to assigned duties * Assisting the therapist in consulting with patients, family members and other health care professionals as appropriate * Assisting with the care of the occupational therapy department and equipment * Assisting the occupational therapist with in-service programs and other meetings as assigned Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant ( COTA ) Education and Experience: * Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Certification * High School Diploma/GED Required * Strong Interpersonal Skills:
