Salary: $650 / Week Amergis Educational Staffing is partnered with a school in Whitman, MA andis currently seeking an Occupational Therapist to work withstudents on a contractual basis. Position Details: + Location: Whitman, MA + Pay Rate: Up to $65.00/hour + Start Date: July 7th + End Date: August 7th + Duration: One month + Schedule: + Monday-Thursday + Flexible hours + 6-7 hours of direct services per week + 3-4 additional hours for documentation or other duties + Therapists may choose any day that aligns with the summer program hours Requirements: + Active OT licensure + Minimum of 1 year of pediatric experience Job Description: We are seeking an Occupational Therapist tosupport students with severe disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder(ASD) and intellectual impairments, across a range of grade levels (PK-12). Thetherapist will be responsible for planning and leading engaging activities forsmall groups (up to 8 students), with support from classroom teachers andparaprofessionals. Classroom Breakdown: + 2 Pre-K ASD classes + 3 Elementary ASD classes + 1 Middle School ASD class + 1 Elementary, 1 Middle, and 1 High School class for students with intellectual disabilities + A few elementary students receiving individual services The OT will visit each classroom once per weekfor approximately 30 minutes.
