Title: Physical Therapist/Pelvic Floor Therapist Job Type: Regular Company: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department: Physical Therapy Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 FTE: 1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: Designs and implements treatment programs to maximize functional independence; evaluates the efficacy of the programs; evaluates and treats patients with cancer-related disabilities; provides instruction to patients and caretakers in preparation for therapy and discharge; documents interventions and communications with health professionals; participates in educational programs; supervises physical therapy clinical interns and physical therapy assistants as needed. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience License Requirement License to practice as a physical therapist in the State of New York. Education and Experience 1. Doctorate degree from an approved physical therapy program; or 2. Master's degree from an approved physical therapy program and the equivalent of one (1) year of full time experience in physical therapy or a related field; or 3. Bachelor's degree from an approved physical therapy program and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in physical therapy or a related field. NOTE: Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices. 1. Experience in outpatient setting 2. Certified in and/or willing to be trained in Pelvic Floor Therapy 3. Strong written/communication skills 4.
