Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract This position requires a dedicated professional with expertise in speech-language pathology within an educational setting. The role is focused on providing essential support to students, addressing a diverse range of communication needs from kindergarten through 12th grade. Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field. Current state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students. Strong assessment and intervention skills. Excellent communication and collaborative skills. Ability to manage a varied caseload effectively. Location: Colorado Springs, CO Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for students with speech and language disorders. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapeutic techniques as needed. Provide direct therapy services and maintain accurate records of sessions. Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and relevant training.
