We are a small, locally-operated massage and facials studio in Point Loma, looking for certified massage therapists to join our peaceful, client-ready space on a commission basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who is self-motivated, professional, and independent.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Certified Massage Therapists
Currently looking to fill shifts on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.
Friday & Saturday may be available to pick up shifts.
COMPENSATION
This is a commission-based position.
On average, therapists earn about $65 per hour, though actual pay may vary depending on several factors:
Weekday vs. weekend shifts (higher commission on weekends)
Type of service (Deep Tissue services pay more than Swedish)
Client tips (you keep 100% of your tips)
Enhancements such as hot stones or foot scrubs - $10 average price
Client discounts (used sparingly usually $10 off during slower times)
Bonuses for rebooking clients and receiving positive reviews on top of the average $65/hr
Service prices may increase later this year or next year, which may further raise earning potential.
Room to Grow: Commission rate increase based on performance, reliability, and client feedback.
REQUIREMENTS
Valid license or certification
Active liability insurance
Willing to complete a background check
Able to use a computer for check-out & rebooking
Reliable transportation
Clean, professional, and punctual
Able to work independently
AS AN INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR
Set your own schedule
Work as little as 1 day per week or more based on your availability
Accept or decline appointments
Work part-time and at other locations
Responsible for your own taxes
