Services must be rendered in accordance with physical therapy principles, ethical standards, and Reliant Rehabilitation's policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct and indirect physical therapy services to patients, including: Screening and evaluating patients. Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans. Case management and discharge planning. Supervising Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and Rehab Technicians. Ensure accurate, timely billing and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines. Build collaborative relationships with patients, interdisciplinary teams, and other healthcare providers to support patient-centered care. Refer and provide clinical supervision to PTAs as appropriate throughout the facility cluster. Answer clinical questions from PTAs and oversee skilled tasks to ensure resource efficiency and professional development. Program Development & Collaboration: Promote the role of physical therapy within interdisciplinary teams. Contribute to facility operations, including utilization reviews, case conferences, and family meetings. Establish and maintain positive working relationships with healthcare professionals and community partners. Participate in development and implementation of innovative rehabilitation programs. Adhere to policies and procedures related to: Environmental safety Risk management Infection control Emergency preparedness Protect patient rights and privacy in accordance with legal and ethical standards. Professional Development: Maintain a valid state license where applicable. Stay informed about developments in physical therapy and healthcare environments. Understand and apply appropriate billing practices and clinical delivery models. Participate in continuing education, training sessions, and competency checklists.
