Number of Beds: 558 beds

Number of Staff: 5-8

Type of Staff: permanent staff, 2-4 RRT's, per diem help

o Day Shift: Supervisor RRT, 4-8 RRT

o Night Shift: Supervisor 4 -8 RRT

Patient Ratios - Varies

Type of Equipment: Oxygen cylinders nebulizer, suction machine, CPAP & BIPAP machines. V60, Servo-1 and Servo-U, High flow

Documentation System: Meditech

Call Requirements: If Needed

Typical Hiring Profile

Must have : (candidates without these skills will not be considered for this role )

NBRC, RT License

BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP

2 years of current acute care Hospital RRT experience

At least one prior travel assignment

List Typical Procedures Performed on Unit(s):

Respiratory Therapist provides treatment, care and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies, asthma, pneumonia, emphysema

Additional Preferences: (ex: previous travel experience preferred, easily adaptable to fast paced unit, can function well independently)

Stroke Education and experience

Director prefers candidates with previous Meditech experience but not a requirement

Active disciplinary approach, collaborative physician relationships
