Occupational Therapist

A community hospital located near Lubbock, Texas, has an excellent opportunity for an Occupational Therapist!

Pay: $50.00 / hourly

Occupational Therapist Opportunity:

• 8-week contract
• Shifts will vary, M-F 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• PRN meaning anywhere from 8 to 40 hours per week
• Inpatient only

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities:

• An Occupational Therapist conducts assessments, re-assessments, treatments, and discharges in accordance with the current standards of physical therapy and the hospital's guidelines.
• The Occupational Therapist is responsible for documenting progress notes, communication with physicians, and discharge summaries for all patients under care.
• They also provide education to patients and caregivers regarding their conditions, available treatment options, and self-management techniques.
• The team of Occupational Therapists collaborates closely with Physical Therapist Assistants, administrative personnel, and hospital staff to deliver holistic and compassionate care.

Occupational Therapist Qualifications:

• Masters in occupational therapy
• NBCOT and BLS Certification
• Current TX Occupational Therapist license
