Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions .
  • Administer oxygen therapy, nebulizers, bronchodilators, and chest physiotherapy .
  • Operate and manage ventilators, CPAP, and BiPAP machines .
  • Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis and interpret results.
  • Assist in emergency airway management and resuscitation procedures .
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory therapy techniques and disease management .
  • Maintain compliance with infection control and patient safety protocols .
Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program .
  • Certification:
    • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) from the NBRC.
    • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (as required per facility).
  • Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience in respiratory therapy.
  • Skills:
    • Expertise in ventilator management, ABG interpretation, and airway clearance techniques .
    • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills .
    • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Travel Readiness: Willing to relocate temporarily for travel assignments.
