Role Overview:
Bellevue Public Schools is seeking a licensed SLP for the 20252026 school year. In this full-time, on-site role, you will assess and treat communication disorders, develop and monitor IEPs , and collaborate with teachers, families, and related-service providers to support K12 students.
Key Responsibilities (condensed):
Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop IEPs per IDEA and Nebraska guidelines
Provide direct intervention (individual or group) for students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, and pragmatic needs
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to coordinate services and monitor progress
Maintain accurate records (assessment reports, service logs, progress data) and participate in IEP meetings
Offer consultative support to staff on speech/language strategies and accommodations
Required Qualifications (condensed):
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a CAA-accredited program
Active CCC-SLP (or eligible within one year) and valid Nebraska SLP license
Nebraska Department of Education Instructional Certificate with SLP endorsement (or eligibility)
Knowledge of IDEA, Nebraska special education regulations, and basic assessment procedures
Completion of required state background check, TB screening, and Mandated Reporter training

Schedule: Full-time, MondayFriday (approx. 7:30 AM3:30 PM)
