• Tailored Intervention: Designing and implementing creative, evidence-based therapy plans uniquely crafted to help students achieve their IEP goals , significantly improving their ability to engage effectively in academic and daily routines.
• Integrated Collaboration: Working seamlessly with teachers, parents, special education teams, and other related service providers to embed therapeutic strategies into both classroom and home environments, ensuring consistent growth and support.
• Skill Development: Guiding students in developing crucial skills for tasks like handwriting, cutting, dressing, feeding, organizing materials, and navigating their school environment, fostering greater self-reliance and boosting self-esteem.
• Adaptive Solutions: Recommending and implementing adaptive equipment, assistive technology, and environmental modifications to remove barriers and enhance accessibility, ensuring optimal student participation.
• Progress Monitoring & Communication: Meticulously documenting student progress, analyzing therapy outcomes, and preparing clear, comprehensive reports for IEP meetings , fostering transparent communication with families and school staff.
• Consultation & Training: Providing expert consultation and professional development to school personnel and parents on practical strategies to effectively support students' occupational needs.

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and state-licensed Occupational Therapist who is deeply committed to empowering children and possesses:

• Licensure: A valid Texas Occupational Therapist (OT) license .
• Education: A Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Experience: Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is preferred, with a strong understanding of IEP processes and the unique demands of an educational environment.
• Clinical Acumen: Excellent clinical skills in assessment, intervention planning, and a diverse range of therapeutic techniques.
