- Empowering Independence: Guiding students to develop crucial skills that foster greater independence in handwriting, cutting, dressing, feeding, sensory regulation, and classroom tasks, boosting their confidence and engagement.
- Creating Adaptations: Recommending and adapting tools, equipment, and environmental modifications to enhance accessibility and enable students to fully participate in school activities.
- Progress Monitoring: Meticulously tracking student progress, analyzing data, and adjusting therapy plans to ensure continuous growth and celebrate every milestone, big or small.
- Advocacy & Guidance: Actively participating in IEP meetings, advocating for student needs, and providing invaluable consultation and support to families and school personnel.
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and state-licensed Occupational Therapist who is deeply committed to student success and brings:
- Licensure: Valid Texas Occupational Therapist (OT) license .
- Education: Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Experience: Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is preferred, with a strong understanding of IEP processes.
- Clinical Skills: Excellent clinical skills in assessment, intervention planning, and therapeutic techniques.
- Empathy & Patience: A profound sense of empathy, patience, and creativity in working with diverse student populations.
