A Patient Care Coordinator position in Teaneck, NJ is now available through Adecco Healthcare and Life Science. In this role, you will be an essential part of our front-line team, delivering exceptional administrative and patient support in a pediatric care setting. Your role will ensure a smooth and weing experience for our young patients and their families while supporting clinical operations and contributing to overall patient satisfaction.
Contract type: 100% onsite. Minimum 6-month temp/contract position (possible extension or temp-hire)
Start date: June or July 2025
Hourly pay range: $22.00-26.32/hr. - depending on level of experience
Work hours: Full-time; flexibility required to work two to three closing shifts per week and occasional weekends. Schedule may include rotating shifts between 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM.
Responsibilities:
Patient check-in and check-out, Activating and assisting with MyChart patient portal, collecting copays and addressing prior balances, Outreach to patients for follow-up and appointment confirmation, maintaining accurate records and documentation using Epic EMR, supporting front-desk operations and contributing to daily workflow, delivering excellent customer service and responding to patient inquiries andmunicating effectively with clinical and administrative team members
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience, ideally in a healthcare or patient-facing role, proficiency in Epic EMR, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Teams, stronganizational skills and attention to detail, calm demeanor, ability to problem-solve under pressure, excellent verbal and writtenmunication skills, Friendly and professional with patients and team members and ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment. Preferred attributes Previous experience in pediatrics or healthcare administration
Demonstrated ability to remainposed and courteous in high-volume situations
Proactive approach to workflow and patient coordination
Proven track record of successful teamwork and adaptability.
