This full-time traveler role covers both outpatient and inpatient therapy, treating all patient age ranges and diagnoses under Alaska's PT scope of practice. You'll incorporate evidence-based medicine, respect cultural diversity, and adapt care plans for individual patient needs. Job Details: Setting: Hospital-based physical therapy department (hi-lo table, whirlpool, therapeutic exercise equipment, modalities, etc.) and village-based care (therapists may travel with equipment as needed). Population: All ages; variety of diagnoses Responsibilities: Perform evaluations and deliver quality physical therapy care Develop and modify patient care plans using evidence-based medicine Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and diverse cultural groups Document all care in accordance with facility standards Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited PT program Alaska PT license in good standing or eligibility via FSBPT (Student PTs post-grad may apply) Current BLS certification Hospital-based experience preferred, but not required Strong documentation, computer, and communication skills COVID vaccination required for all travelers Why Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta Regional Hospital?
