Seeking a dedicated professional to provide specialized services in an elementary school setting, focusing on students from 2nd to 5th grade. This role is essential in supporting the diverse needs of learners, particularly within an ABA self-contained program.

Qualifications:

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Experience working in school environments, particularly with elementary-aged students
• Strong understanding of ABA principles and practices
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teaching staff and other professionals
• Comfortable servicing preschool students as needed
• Preferred availability for both Extended School Year (ESY) and New School Year (NSY)

Location:

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to students in accordance with established IEPs
• Support students in developing skills necessary for daily functioning and academic success
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement appropriate therapeutic interventions
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and services provided
• Adapt therapy techniques to meet the varying needs of students, including those in the ABA program
• Communicate regularly with students, parents, and staff regarding progress and needs
