Job Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical and functional abilities to determine therapy goals.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans to improve patients' motor skills and daily living activities.
  • Implement therapeutic exercises and activities to enhance patients' strength, coordination, and dexterity.
  • Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and use of adaptive equipment.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
  • Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate in home and workplace modifications for improved accessibility.
  • Provide guidance and support for outpatient rehabilitation and community reintegration. Maintain compliance with occupational therapy standards, regulations, and protocols. Participate in team meetings as necessary
  • Stay updated on the latest occupational therapy techniques and advancements.


Job Requirements
  • Graduate of a college with an accredited program in Occupational Therapy
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Proven experience working as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a similar setting
  • Strong knowledge of therapy treatment practices and techniques
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Ability to lift and move patients as necessary
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry advancements
