The UNM Occupational Therapy Graduate Program at the University ofNew Mexico anticipates hiring temporary part time adjunct faculty to teachcourses or problem based learning in the Summer 2025, Fall 2025, Spring 2026.Anticipated openings potentially include the following subject areas amongothers:
- Leadership and advocacy in occupational therapy
- Community occupational therapy
- Neurological and orthopedics occupational therapy
- Problem based learning in orthopedic, neurological or pediatric occupational therapy
- Evidence based practice
- Psychosocial occupational therapy
- Research in occupational therapy
Positions are contingent upon each semester as determined bycurrent course offerings.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
- Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in New Mexico by start date
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with university level teaching
- Masters degree in occupational therapy or a related field
- Teaching or clinical experience in needed content areas
- Experience with problem based learning
- A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities.
