Speech Language Pathologist, 0.5 FTE

This position is a .5 FTE (half-time). Job Requirements:MA DESE License in Speech Language and Hearing Disorders Job Goal:To deliver a variety of services in speech and language and complete assessments for the purpose of educational planning. Performance Responsibilities: Provide therapeutic services to students with a wide variety of speech and language disorders and delays, both individually and in groups. Performs diagnostic evaluations and implements treatment plans tailored to individual student needs.Collaborates with classroom teachers and other school staff members to implement effective therapy.Serves as a consultant to school staff members in the development of services.Participates in parent and IEP meetings.Responsible for goal writing for IEPs.Keep thorough records of the individual student receiving services.For collective bargaining agreements that contain a salary grid, and to view benefits offered, please go to: and/or Portuguese speaking preferred.A two-day New Teacher Orientation will take place on August 18th and 19th. The first day of school for teachers will be August 25th.
