Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to join a school district in Roanoke, Virginia. This position offers the opportunity to work directly with students to enhance their functional abilities and support their educational success through individualized therapy services.

Role Summary:
As a school-based Occupational Therapist, you will assess, plan, and implement therapy interventions tailored to meet each students needs. You will work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that promote student participation and achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services focusing on fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living

• Collaborate with school personnel and families to integrate therapy goals into the educational environment

• Document therapy sessions and student progress according to district and state guidelines

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute clinical expertise

Qualifications:

• Current Virginia Occupational Therapy license

• Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program

• Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage caseload efficiently and work collaboratively
