As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with Sunbelt Staffing in Roanoke, you'll work closely alongside a licensed Occupational Therapist, putting essential therapy plans into action. Your daily contributions will include:

• Delivering individualized occupational therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade, precisely as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs.
• Collaborating effectively with the supervising Occupational Therapist, teachers, and other school staff to enhance students' fine motor skills, self-care routines, sensory processing, and overall participation in all school activities.
• Assisting diligently with accurate data collection and detailed record-keeping of student progress, helping to track and celebrate their achievements.
• Contributing to the adaptation of materials, equipment, or environments for students, under the Occupational Therapist's expert guidance.
• Participating in meetings as needed, sharing valuable observations about student development and therapeutic progress.

We're looking for a professional who is passionate about helping children, highly organized, and loves to work as part of a team. If this sounds like you, then you likely possess:

• An Associate's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• A valid Virginia Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license .
