Expected pay for this position is $39.13 - $46.03/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an hourly position.

Overview

$5,000 -1 year work commitment

$10,000 - 2 year work commitment

$20,000 - 3 year work commitment

POSITION SUMMARY: The Occupational Therapist assists patients in the restoration of Occupational function through evaluation and treatment.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.

Licensure/Certifications:

  • Respective state license and NBCOT registration.
  • American Heart BLS
  • Valid Driver's License and Insurance

Other skills/knowledge:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate to the population served
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills to communicate effectively with patients and families. Additionally, communicates effectively with other treatment team members when gathering and exchanging patient condition information
  • Analytical ability to evaluate patients' Occupational and functional status, establish therapy goals, formulate treatment plans consistent with goals, observe patients and document status, and assist techs and assistants in resolving problems
  • Excellent computer skills and the ability to process detailed information in an accurate manner

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • One year experience in hospital or Home Care Setting
