Summary:
Serves as lead role for Physical Therapy staff and staff within cost center. Assists management with supervision of daily operation, staffing, training, work assignments, competencies, safety and performance appraisals of staff and employees in the physical therapy related cost centers.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Formal Education Required:
a. Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or Bachelor's Degree and certificate in Physical Therapy
b. Graduate from a Physical Therapy Program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association
c. Current license issued by the Occupational Therapy/Physical Therapy/Athletic Trainers Board to practice Physical Therapy in the State of Ohio.
d. BLS Healthcare Provider CPR through AMA
e. Prefer board certifications in clinical specialty areas and/or advanced degrees in healthcare field. Prefer active participation within professional organization.
- Experience & Training Required:
a. Two (2) years increasingly responsible professional experience that has provided leadership skills.

a. Knowledge and understanding of department policies, procedures, treatment protocols, standards of care, quality improvement processes and philosophies
b. Ability to promote teamwork/build teams and supervise professional and supportive staff.

e. Ability to assist staff with case management
f. Serves as an engaged and positive role model
g. Promotes patient advocacy for all populations served
h. May require rotation through selected treatment areas when necessary to facilitate organizational service delivery needs
i. Able to work in a high paced, dynamic environment and take appropriate action
j. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
k. Accountability for demonstrating behaviors consistent with service excellence
l. Population Specific Competency: Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect, dignity, cultural compassion, diversity and inclusion
- Level of Physical Demands:
a. Very Heavy: Exerts in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force continuously to move objects.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.
