Youable Emotional Health has openings for a qualified mental health therapist who seeks to serve the mental health needs of the community in the Twin Cities. We work with many in the community with limited opportunities to mental health services. We are seeking candidates to serve a general population of all ages.

Location: Richfield

The mental health practitioner in this role will make a difference in helping clients work on their mental health goals with a variety of techniques in a private office space. We serve our community with humility and respect, taking a strengths-based perspective and seeing people as capable of being emotionally healthy.

Providing therapy creates a deep personal connection to the members of the community, and our teams support each other often where different perspectives are shared and valued!

Job Overview:

  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the mental health services for clients
  • Coordinate care with family system and treatment team members when necessary, and document appropriately
  • Engage in reflective supervision to ensure quality client care and continuous improvement of clinical services and follow through with recommendations discussed in supervision
  • Conduct Diagnostic Assessments and develop related treatment plans
  • Provide ongoing therapy with clients
  • Maintain ongoing and timely documentation of services

Key expectations include developing effective therapeutic relationships with clients, providing individual therapy, conducting diagnostic assessments, and completing individualized treatment planning and interventions. An ideal candidate has cultural competency, will use evidence-based practices, will be fully engaged to learn in a collaborative team environment, and will reflect the integrity of our strengths-based perspective.

Job Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Mental Health field (earned LGSW required for MSW candidates)
  • Prelicensed on mental health licensure track (LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, LP)
  • Interest in working with diverse clients
  • Organizational skills to complete documentation
  • Ability to work some evenings when clients are available
  • Awareness of effective therapeutic modalities
