Do you enjoy making a positive impact in your community? The City of Tallahassee is looking for responsible and enthusiastic individuals to support a variety of recreation programs and facility operations across our community centers, athletic fields, and special event venues.
As a Recreation Aide, you'll assist with daily tasks that ensure our programs and facilities run smoothly, while creating a safe and welcoming environment for residents and visitors of all ages.
What You'll Do:
- Support operations and programming at community centers or other recreational facilities
- Set up and break down equipment and activity spaces for events and programs
- Supervise rental facilities for private parties and events
- Provide administrative or logistics support as needed
- Assist with athletics
Schedule:
Work is scheduled on a part-time basis and may vary by location and season. Evening and weekends may be required.
Minimum Training & Experience
Ability to follow oral and written instructions and carry out assigned tasks.
Necessary Special Requirements
Certification or licensing may be required for designated positions in this classification.
Salary Range
$13.00 to $80.00 per hour, dependent upon qualifications and placement.
