Position Overview:
Are you a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) looking for a meaningful opportunity to support student success? We are currently seeking a qualified SLP to join our team in Pennsylvania! Major Responsibilities Perform or review screenings and assessments, including school or classroom-based screenings
Use results of screenings and assessments to inform treatment approaches and recommendations
Identify speech-language impairments and evaluate need for school-based therapy
Provide continuum of support to students, including individual and group therapy
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members in facilitating group therapy
Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education programs (IEP)
Implement school-wide positive behavior support plan and individualized positive behavior plans
Comply with federal, state, and organizational requirements for service delivery
Regularly participate in IEP meetings and student teamings
Provide consultation to educators regarding language/literacy instruction and communication needs
Identify, recommend, and obtain AAC devices for students, including both low and high-technology
Desired Qualifications PDE Certified Speech Therapist or Speech-Language Pathologist
PA Licensed Speech Language Pathologist
ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence
Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field
Minimum of two years of experience in school settings
Experience with students with autism, emotional disturbance, and intellectual disabilities preferred
Experience with AAC devices and culturally diverse populations preferred
Valid Act 34, Act 151, and Act 114 clearances
