School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Short-Term Assignment

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Short-Term Assignment Soliant is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to cover a leave of absence in a school district near Medina, OH. This full-time position runs from April 7, 2025, to May 30, 2025. The selected candidate will work with an elementary caseload of approximately 55 students, providing essential speech and language support for the remainder of the school year. Responsibilities: Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary students in alignment with IEP goals

Conduct assessments to evaluate communication needs and develop appropriate interventions

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success

Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress discussions

Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

Active Ohio SLP license or eligibility to obtain one

ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred

Previous experience working with elementary students in a school setting preferred

Strong communication and organizational skills
