This school-based position will focus on helping students enhance their functional abilities and develop the skills necessary for daily living and academic success through individualized therapy interventions. Masters (or higher) in Occupational Therapy
2025-2026 school year
Full time hours available
K-12 caseload
Guaranteed hourly pay: $40-60/hr
Illinois state license required
Responsibilities: Conduct evaluations to assess students' occupational performance, including fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care abilities.
Develop and implement tailored occupational therapy treatment plans in collaboration with students, families, and the educational team.
Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings, using evidence-based practices.
Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet goals.
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing expertise on occupational therapy needs and strategies.
Qualifications: Experience working in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
