You will support patients in the Smithfield community by living out our mission of caring for others as we care for those we love by: Performing initial and ongoing assessments to objectively measure patients' progress Carrying out evidence-based treatments plans that engage our patients and meet their therapeutic needs Collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team comprised of Nursing, Speech, Occupational, and Physical therapists to provide great care with compassion What does Riverside offer? Qualifications Education Associates Degree, Physical Therapy Assistant (Required) and Program Graduate, Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) (Required) Experience 1 year Healthcare experience (Preferred) Skills and Abilities Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age, goal, and diagnosis appropriate care. Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development throughout the life span, be able to assess patients' needs and status by analyzing evaluated data, and be able to interpret information to identify age-specific needs and provide appropriate care accordingly per patient care setting.
