Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant for an engaging position in Arlington, WA. This contract role focuses on providing exceptional support in a K-12 school setting during the extended school year, running from July 28th to August 14th. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, from 9 AM to 3 PM. Qualifications: Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Demonstrated experience working with K-12 students Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Proficient in collaboration with educational staff and families Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and treatment strategies Responsibilities: Assess and provide treatment for students with speech and language disorders Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom Create and maintain documentation of student progress and outcomes Conduct initial evaluations and participate in IEP meetings Develop engaging and effective therapy plans tailored to individual student needs Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment Location:
