Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A local school is currently recruiting a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team for the upcoming school year. The primary objective of the SLP role is to assess and diagnose a range of speech, language, and communication disorders. The SLP will also be responsible for devising personalized treatment plans, providing guidance and communication strategies, and offering education to families and caregivers of individuals with communication disorders. The specific caseload will be determined accordingly. The director is actively considering applications and conducting interviews for this position. Responsibilities: Perform evaluations and deliver treatment for communication disorders.

Develop tailored treatment and therapy plans to meet the unique needs of diverse patients.

Conduct screenings to identify voice or speech disorders.

Educate patients and their families about speech disorders, including underlying causes such as disabilities or traumatic events.

Maintain comprehensive records of patient conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress.

Experience: Prior experience as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), preferably in a school setting.

Education: Hold a master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.

Full accreditation (CCC) is preferred.

Completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) requirement is mandatory.
