School Based Speech Pathologist (SLP) for Upcoming 23'-24' Academic Year

There is an available Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position at a local school for the upcoming academic year. The SLP's responsibilities include assessing and diagnosing communication disorders, creating treatment plans, and communicating with patients' family and caregivers. The specific caseload for this position will be determined later. The director is currently reviewing candidates' backgrounds and conducting interviews.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat communication disorders
  • Develop personalized treatment plans for a diverse patient population
  • Educate patients and their families about the causes and effects of speech disorders
  • Maintain detailed records of patient progress, care plans, and therapies

Experience:

  • Prior experience working in the SLP field is required
  • Experience working in a school setting as an SLP is preferred

Education:

  • A master's degree in Speech Language Pathology is mandatory
  • Full accreditation (CCC) is desirable
  • Completion of at least the Clinical Fellowship Year is necessary
