Hiring Range: LCSW - A $25.44 - $28.00 per hour commensurate with experience
LCSW - $33.45 - $ 35.57 per hour commensurate with experience
Hours: 8:00 - 5:00 Monday - Friday, up to 40 hours per week (flexible scheduling, full-time and part-time)

CHA is seeking a therapist who is passionate about providing services to young children. The ideal candidate is certified as a play therapist and/or in other evidence-based, child focused modalities or is willing to obtain in one or more modality. The clinician will provide trauma-informed, evidence-based treatment in a newly renovated, safe and beautifully designed space tailored for healing and growth. The right candidate will be eligible to receive free clinical supervision, specialized training in play therapy and parent child interaction therapy as well as ongoing support from a collaborative, trauma-informed team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete assessment, develop treatment plans, intervene, and appropriately terminate with clients according to professional standards
- Provide high-quality evidence-based treatment with a focus on young children and their families
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Submit accurate, timely coding for the purpose of billing
- Maintain and report data as required
Education/Experience: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master's degree in social work. Experience with early elementary age children, families and/or preschoolers is preferred. Interest in play therapy and/or evidence-based practices aimed at services to young children is required. Support in obtaining training and certification is available for the right candidate. Fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
License: Licensed Clinical Social Worker in North Carolina. Valid NC driver's license.

- Extensive knowledge of social, economic and emotional needs and DSM 5 mental health diagnoses
- Ability to deal tactfully with others and exercise good judgment in appraising situations and making decisions
- Must be able to solve problems within a scope of responsibility
- Ability to secure the cooperation of clients, to elicit needed information and to effective working relationships
- Accurately record services rendered, submit accurate billing and interpret and explain records
