As a Physiotherapist , you are responsible for the assessment of neuromuscular, musculoskeletal and cardiorespiratory systems a nd the treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of an injury or pain . The goal is to develop, maintain , rehabilitate, or augment function and promote mobility. Care will take place within a residential or institutional setting with referrals generated by a variety of sources. Client groups receiving treatment may include p ediatrics for in home or school services and/or a dults with medical/health concerns.

What youll do :

  • Conduct initial client assessments, identification of problems, and establishment of goals and treatment plans

  • Develop client-centered plans with clients, inter-professional team and other stakeholders

  • Engage clients using a collaborative approach, build rapport and trust, and achieve a mutual understanding and agreement related to the services to be provided

  • Maintain professional client records related to client encounters and plans

  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team consisting of government agencies, healthcare workers, and other community resources

What you bring :

  • Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy

  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario

  • Willingness to travel to and from clients residences within a designated area

  • Valid driver license and access to a vehicle to travel to and from patients residences within a geographical area
