Job Description:
We are seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the 20252026 school year to support early learners in a PreK setting in Napa, California . This position serves a caseload of 40 students and requires prior experience working in a school-based setting.
The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide therapy and support services that enhance communication development in preschool-aged children.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language services according to students IEPs under SLP supervision.
Support communication development in early learners with diverse needs.
Document session notes and track progress as directed by the supervising SLP.
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to generalize therapy strategies across settings.
Maintain compliance with state, district, and professional standards.
Qualifications:
Valid California SLPA license.
Degree from an accredited SLPA program or relevant Bachelors degree.
Required: Minimum 1 year of school-based experience, preferably with preschool-aged children.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an early childhood environment.
