As a Respiratory Therapist with Liberty at the Stockley Center, your responsibilities will primarily involve:
- Administering respiratory therapy services to residents in accordance with physician orders
- Recommending treatment plans that meet individual resident needs and goals
- Administering inhalants, therapeutic gas, environmental control systems, aerosol generators and other respiratory equipment
- Performing bronchopulmonary drainage and assisting with breathing exercises
- Rapidly responding to code situations
- Evaluating effects of respiratory therapy treatment and recommending adjustments as necessary
- Collaborating with physicians, nurses and ancillary clinicians
- Training clinical and ancillary staff in respiratory treatments and procedures
- Documenting treatment services
You will work collaboratively with and be supported by an experienced, dedicated and skilled multidisciplinary team which includes nurses, physicians, other licensed clinicians, and direct care staff.
You will enjoy a slower pace and very small caseload, which will enable you to spend ample time with your patients and your colleagues. Ours is a very collegial and patient-focused environment.
