Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Acute Care

Location: Elyria, OH

Shift: 3x12s - Days
Pay: $1520 Weekly
Weekly Hours: 36-40
Stipends: Housing/meals included if traveler qualifies (>50 miles from home)
Licensure: An Active Ohio RRT license is required upon submission.

We're hiring a Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for an acute care setting. The ideal candidate performs core respiratory care functions independently and demonstrates competency in delivering safe and effective therapy with minimal supervision after orientation.

Travel Respiratory Therapist Responsibilities

• Initiate and manage mechanical ventilation
• Deliver medicated aerosol therapies
• Perform airway clearance therapy
• Monitor patients and document respiratory status
• Administer oxygen and humidity therapy
• Assist with special procedures such as:
• Comply with all hospital policies and standards of care

Travel Respiratory Therapist Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy (required)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (NBRC)
• Active license to practice in Ohio (required by start date)
• Current BLS (required); ACLS, PALS, or NRP preferred
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience preferred
