Job Description:
Essential Duties:
-Oversees and ensures a comprehensive rehabilitation program designed to meet the physical, psychosocial, cognitive, and immediate environmental well-being of the patient.
-Promotes patient/caregiver self-determination by optimizing outside resource utilization to achieve the highest level of independence.
-Coordinates and communicates with various disciplines or services involved in patient care.
-Coordinates efforts toward discharge goals established at initial evaluation and during episode of care.

Required Skills & Experience:
-Two (2) years' experience required in a large hospital.
-Requires detailed knowledge of speech and language pathology in terms of what and how work is to be done as well as why it is done; this level includes interpretation of data.
-Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment previously.
-Basic understanding of the rules and regulations of the specific setting.
-Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to fast paced environment.

Required Education:
-Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology.

Required Certifications & Licensure:
-ASHA Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) certification.
-BLS required.
-BLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
-Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology.
EPIC Experience.
