Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a supportive K-12 environment in Creswell, OR. This role is focused on providing essential services to students with speech and language disorders, ensuring they receive the guidance and support needed for their communication development. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students to assess speech and language needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at achieving specific communication goals. Provide direct therapy sessions, fostering a positive and engaging learning atmosphere. Regularly monitor and document student progress to inform ongoing interventions. Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote effective strategies for student success. Educate and involve families in the therapy process, enhancing their understanding and support. Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology. Preference for candidates holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations is highly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
