Location: New Hartford, NY
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate student speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students' requirements.
- Deliver direct therapy services and monitor student progress through evaluations and progress reports.
- Collaborate with Special Education staff to ensure comprehensive support for students.
- Utilize Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices as needed.
- Advocate for students' communication needs within the school community.
Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist License in Connecticut.
- CCC-SLP certification preferred.
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in a school setting.
- Familiarity with teletherapy practices is a plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
