Professional opportunity available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist in New Hartford, NY. This contract position spans the school year, focusing on providing essential communication support to students from pre-kindergarten through sixth grade.

Location: New Hartford, NY

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate student speech and language needs.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students' requirements.
• Deliver direct therapy services and monitor student progress through evaluations and progress reports.
• Collaborate with Special Education staff to ensure comprehensive support for students.
• Utilize Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices as needed.
• Advocate for students' communication needs within the school community.

Qualifications:

• Current Speech-Language Pathologist License in Connecticut.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred.
• Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in a school setting.
• Familiarity with teletherapy practices is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
