Looking for Full-Time SLP School-Based Role Lafayette, IN

Position Summary:
A school district in Lafayette, IN is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students with speech and language needs across a K12 population. This on-site role focuses on providing therapy services, conducting evaluations, and collaborating with educators and families to promote communication development and academic growth.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students for speech, language, fluency, and voice impairments

• Develop individualized goals and treatment plans as part of each students IEP

• Deliver direct therapy services in individual and group settings

• Monitor student progress and maintain thorough documentation

• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

• Communicate with families and teachers regarding strategies for classroom carryover

• Ensure all services are aligned with state and federal guidelines

Required Credentials:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Current Indiana SLP license issued by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA)

• CCC-SLP preferred

• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills

• School-based experience preferred but not required

Position Details:

• Location: Lafayette, IN

• Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday
