Open Position: SLP Speech-Language Pathologist (Indiana License Required) Lafayette, IN

Position Description:
A public school in Lafayette, IN is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapeutic and consultative services to students with communication challenges. This role plays a vital part in helping students succeed academically and socially by addressing speech, language, and fluency needs directly within the school environment. The position is fully on-site and involves collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Duties:

• Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals

• Deliver evidence-based therapy services in both group and individual settings

• Monitor student progress, maintain documentation, and adjust therapy as needed

• Participate in eligibility, IEP, and progress review meetings

• Work closely with school staff and parents to support student outcomes

• Ensure services comply with local, state, and federal special education regulations

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Valid Indiana SLP license issued by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA)

• CCC-SLP strongly preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply

• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills

• Experience in a school setting is beneficial but not required
