Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Job Opening near Minden, LA

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a supportive school district in Minden, Louisiana for the 20252026 school year. The SLPA will work onsite, collaborating closely with a supervising SLP and school staff to support students speech and language development.

Position Responsibilities:

• Implement speech and language therapy activities under the direction of a supervising SLP

• Provide services individually or in small groups targeting speech, language, fluency, and voice goals

• Assist in screening and assessments during the evaluation process

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to meet IEP goals and support student communication needs

• Maintain accurate and confidential student records

• Support IEP implementation and the special education process

Requirements:

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field

• Active Louisiana SLPA License

• School-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Strong communication and organizational skills
